With the 2022 NFL schedule being released earlier this week, it’s time to dive into some of the more intriguing games on the Miami Dolphins schedule. Outside of their typical divisional matchups, there are quite a few intriguing games for the Dolphins this season that are guaranteed to have plenty of storylines attached to them. In what’s shaping up to be a prove-it year for starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins face both Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers) and Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals) who will forever be tied to Tua due to being selected in the same NFL Draft class. Additionally, the Miami Dolphins are scheduled to play the Pittsburgh Steelers who possess a pair of former Dolphins whose time in Miami didn’t quite go as originally planned (Minkah Fitzpatrick and Brian Flores). As we make our way further into the schedule the Miami Dolphins will travel to San Francisco as Mike McDaniel will coach in his first game against his former team (San Francisco 49ers) and mentor, Kyle Shanahan. Lastly, we can’t leave out the game against Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns. The Dolphins/Browns matchup (if Watson isn’t suspended) will be loaded with hype and will be the most ideal time and place for Tua and the Dolphins to silence the pro-Watson media/fans.
